WinampPro MP3 ripper, is it LAME? Version #? Help with info please.

I have used CDex for a while now, but I am curious as to the technical info on the MP3 ripper built into WinampPro. Does anyone know, or can someone link me to the Winamp page that has this information? I couldn't find it.
