Strange Problem with Cover & Tag Plug-In
 

Hi,

first off all, I want to mention, that I've allready searched the FAQs and used the Search-Function, but haven't found an answer to my problem there, so that I'm opening this thread now, hoping to find an answer here.

I hope, I am in the right forum as I've found no forum especially made for problems with plug-ins.

I'm using Winamp 5.0 for a couple of days now, and I'v just installed the Cover & Tag Plug-In 3.0.2, since I'd had older versions of it allready with my old 2.95-Winamp, which always worked very well.

Now I'm getting strange Error Messages, when I choose some of my mp3-Files from my playlist to play them. A Message Box with the title "JPEG Error" appears saying: "Premature End Of JPEG File". Then, if I've got the Video Window open, the Plug In loads a standard picture (always the same).

The Error only occurs with some of my mp3s, but always with the same, and never with such, that have allready a Cover in their ID3-Tag. If I include a cover in one of the concerned files, the error doesn't occur with this file any more.

I've never had these problems with further versions of Winamp and this plug-in before. :( This really sucks. Could somebody please help me? I'm looking forward for your answers.

I just found a JPEG-File in one my mp3-Directories. It was the file, the plug-in loaded by default with the mp3-files also stored in that directory. This file was obviously somehow corrupt, what concluded in these Error Messages

So, that's all, my problem has gone, this thread can be closed now. :)
