won't play wma files in playlist

Problem: Winamp (it doesn't matter what version) on my Win NT 4.0 would not play the wma files in my playlist.

Scenario:
The playlist contained a mixture of mp3 and wma files. Mp3 files could be played properly, but wma files would be skipped.
These wma files could be played in other PCs which used OSes like XP Pro, XP Home and Win 2000.
Win NT 4.0 media player can only be upgraded up to 6.4 and it does not have a playlist (at least none that I know of).
I would like to keep the wma files because they are smaller in size.

Solution: (Anybody??)

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Horse-Fly but that didn't work. I changed the former in_wm.dll to in_wm.dll.off. Then I installed the plug-in that you suggested. But, it still didn't work.

Any other suggestion?

perhaps you can just change them to mp3 (they just take up space in a format you can't use)
