get rid of id tags
 

in my old winamp (2.91) i got rid of id tags or switched some plug in so that the tags wouldn't be read. how can i do that in winamp 5? i just want my filenames to show up as the titles, not the id tags.

The exact same options from 2.91 are still there, eg.
Prefs -> Plugins -> Input -> in_mp3 -> config:
Titles/Tags tab: uncheck "Read id3 tags for titles"

However, this is overridden if Advanced Title Formatting is enabled (Prefs > Titles).

So, either disable ATF, or change the ATF string to:
$filepart(%filename%)
