Help Me : Port Unblocking!!!
 

Hi everyone, my first time here!!!

I want to run my cool radio station... BUT!!!....

I am on a L.A.N network!!!

I managed to sort out a server and the dsp thingy for winamp fine. I know this coz I dont tests by typing "localhost" and my local I.P addy in there and it connected fine!

All I need to know now is how the bloomin heck to listen to my radio through my external I.P Address!!! :

I have tried : 82.34.138.57 (My external) And it didnt work!!

On my mums machine (Downstairs, she is connected to main internet and i get internet through her) I have installed portmapper, which allows ports I type to be unfirewalled, if you see what i'm saying. =D

Right... n e wayz, what port(s) do I need to unblock to be able to connect to my PC through my external I.P Address???

I have been working hard to get this work work, and now i'm more anxious than ever to get this working!!!

P.S : My Domain name : http://www.Spiderz-Web.com is DNS to my external I.P Address 82.34.138.57 too. Just incase that helps!!!

Forward ports 8000 to 8001 to your machine's local IP - the machine that is running the shoutcast server.
