how to skip TO songs?
i remember in older versions of winamp, when the song changed, it would scroll the playlist TO that song. however, now, my playlist just sits at the top. i can't find the option to have it jump & view the song it's playing. anyone? thanks in advance.

You mean that the playlist still automatically advances to the next song (ie. 'manual playlist advance' isn't checkmarked in Prefs > Playlist), and you've got 'shuffle' enabled, but the playlist doesn't actually move to display the currently playing song?
If so, that's most weird, and certainly shouldn't be happening. There isn't any setting for this. It should do it automatically. If this wasn't a clean install of Winamp 5.02, all I can think of is that your problem is caused by some old/incompatible 3rd-party plugin ?! :/ |
from what it sounds like, he is using the playlist editor in the media library, and not the actual playlist window... because that doesnt return to to the song thats currently playing when the song ends(at least not on mine)
and for an extra note: there should be a feature to turn that auto-return thing off and on |
Yeah, good point. Didn't think of that, lol.
