winamp 5.02 crashing when running mirc
 

Hi, maybe someone can help me.

I updated to 5.02 today - everything was okay for a while. I was downloading some new tracks from epitonic.com - then randomly winamp started crashing my system. So, I rebooted, and kept getting just the program crash. So I uninstalled, and reinstalled it fresh (rather than over the top) - I'm still getting crashes, and for some reason, it seems to happen when I'm also using mIRC. Incidentally, when winamp started dying, trillian pro also stopped working.

I ran a full virus scan - nothing came up. I don't think it would be spy ware, but I'll check it too. I also updated mirc to the latest version to be on the safe side.

Anyone else come across something similar?

Well, I managed to get winamp running again without crashing. I can't get AMIP working on it now though - maybe it just doesn't work with 5.02 (even tho it was before all the crazy crashing started). All sorts of my programs now won't run properly - all since i downloaded 5.02. So, I'm not an overly happy bunny.
