CD Cover designer

Is there any cd cover designer that works along with winamp 5 ? a plugin ? or maybe a program that winamp can export it's playlist to ?

Any decent burning program should be able to do this e.g. Feurio is quick and easy, and produces clearly laid out work. I think Nero has a cover editor as well.

Take a look on Google and see what else you can find.

Nero, Easy CD & DVD Creator, and other burning applications usually come with a cover designer application. But if you know the dimensions of a CD cover you can make a pretty good CD cover just using Microsoft Word. I attached an image of dimensions of a CD cover I found just searching the web. I used it to make some pretty good templates in Word. See what you can do with it ;)

yeah i have to agree with teqnilogik. word can come up with some good cd covers, MD covers, Tape covers.

if you are just trying to recreate cds of one band or group e.g. a cd with only metallica on it (wether the album exists or not) i sugest looking at thier website or fan websites and getting a few pictures to slap on the front.

if you are exactly copying an album, its good to get the actual cover to the album and print that out.

and if you are making a compelation album i sugest designing a single image template that you can use again and again. e.g. a few pictures of yourself, or of music type things, some writting, and a space for the play list. change the text when you want and leave the pics the same.

but all this can be done in word, or the gimp (free photoshop alternative) or whatever program. cd cover designers only have one advantage, they come with silly pre done ones :P

I checked out The GIMP program that alltaken mentioned and it is very good. It offers similar functionality of Photoshop for free :) Very nice find!
