Plugin that displays pitch and octave?

Hi, are there any plugins that can display a notes pitch and octave on the fly?

Do you mean one that scans the music and detects it itself?
Hmm as nice as that would be I don't think anything like that exists. might be possible to make but I doubt it'd work very well.
What you can do though is to use a lyrics plugin or similar and make it display the song tabs. but then you'd have to input the tabs yourself. (or save them from a website that has the song tabs)

Sounds like a very difficult thing to do on the fly, but I may be wrong.

If you're looking for something that will produce a written score then they do exist, usually called orchestrators or some such.

Never used one in anger, but those I've seen seem to produce really complex results with accidentals all over the place.
