Winamp media files.............
 

Ok, I'm new here so forgive me, I have a dumb question. I have the basic winamp, meaning I can't burn mp3's with my winamp, I also can't burn with adaptec easy cd creator, because my mp3 files are now labeled winamp media files, how can I convert these back to plain old mp3 files ?
Would removing winamp from my pc revert the files ?

You should still be able to burn the files even if they're associated with Winamp. the actual files are still exactly the same-- they're just associated with Winamp.
However to free them you can go into the Winamp options (control+P) and uncheck them on the list in the "File Types section. doing that will make Winamp let them go so your program can use them again.
In any way I suggest you get Nero Burning Rom instead ;)
