Skins HELP!
 

i download the skins from the site .. put em in the skin folder .. start up winamp .. i see no change .. so i go to the options and click the skin option and i dont see the skin i just downloaded .. help ?

go into ur skins folder and double click on the file and it should manually change it to that skin.

ya i did that .. but its like .. one of those files where when u double click it .. it says u have to choose from an internet program or a application of your choice

then that means that u don't have winamp installed properly...uninstall and reinstall it...oh and which winamp did u download? if u only got lite then modern skins won't work (i assume that ur wanting to use modern skins that is)

nope .. not working ... i uninstalled / reinstalled .. umm im using verson 2.91 ? if that helps lol

what type of skin are u trying to view? cause if its modern then it ain't goin to work..i also suggest that u upgrade to winamp5 as fast as possible, stop living in the middles ages and come to the age of technology or what ever age we are in atm :p i would also try running ur problem by the classic skin forum, as this is Modern so it would b best answered in there.

As pointed out, if the skins you are trying to use are modern skins, ie not your regular rectangular shapped classic skins, then they will not work in 2.91.

Only Winamp5.x now supports modern skins, download that from here.
