Alarm Clock for Winamp 5?

i searched under a few different things, and nothing came up for 5? Anything out there, or being developped?

any other programs?
i don't really care if it's a winamp plugin, just something that will play my mp3's to wake me up.

thanks a lot! also is this the right spot? didn't see a plug-in foru,

or, if youre loking for something simplistic. as long as you have playlist files associated with winamp, just set a windows task to load up a playlist file full of mp3's at whatever time. i used to do this with wmp. worked well.

but all of those work for earlier versions of Winamp. The ones wtih new release dates are just updated versions :(

thanks, but i don't think the Scheduled Task method works with Winamp 5 cuz there's no autoplay :)

i'll try with WMP

winamp 2 plug-ins work with winamp 5. at least try some out, to see whether it works for you or not.

and you can autoplay on Winamp with DrO's autoplay/time restore plug-in, so scheduled task should work for you.

You don't need autoplay to use Scheduled Task -type alarms. Make a task that points to an m3u or mp3, then make sure that enqueue is turned off:
Winamp>Ctrl-P>File Types>UNcheck Enqueue files on Double Click in Windows Explorer(default is unchecked)

Of course, if you use enqueue as your personal preferred setting, inthegray's solution should also work.

/edit: My bad, I see it's inthegrAy, not inthegrEy :)

Winamp 5 is based on the Winamp 2.x engine, not on the Winamp3 wasabi engine, so all plugins still work (in theory). If they didn't, then there'd be no point in still making them available.
