what happened to initial d?
 

hey, i'm new here, anyways..i've haven't been using winamp for like the past 3 weeks, but i saw before that they had playing in the internet tv section "initial d: second stage" and now that i check, they don't have it listed anymore...what happened?

also, what other types of channels can you pick up besides those listed? like, can you add more in or is there a site to add links in? i wanna see if i can get espn or something on this.....:D

uh, The people who created Winamp and the people here have no control over what is broadcasted on Internet TV. There might be a chance that the broadcaster who was broadcasting the Initial D program is a member of these fine forums. If that is the case, then talk to that member, but it might be hard to find out who.

in addition, the channels listed are those culled together from PUBLIC servers. There might be the chance that the server went pay and you might not be able to watch it unless you pay the fee.

If you want another channel, then it would be best to ask around and there might be some people who wouldn't mind starting a public server for that case.

also, if you wanted to start your own server, it would be best to check out this: http://forums.winamp.com/forumdispla...s=&forumid=152 as it is the Official forum for NSV and Internet TV.

Sorry I couldn't be much help, but the internet tv servers aren't run by Nullsoft unless specified in the channel name with "NTV:(Channel name)".

No, it just happens that some forums members are also broadcasters and some broadcasters are also forum members. Since Nullsoft offers the NSV support area, it kind of makes sense if you broadcast to be a member here, since you can get help if you need it.
