compatiblity mode on xp

i need an option [check box] for setting an installed exe to run in nt 4 compatibility mode when installed on xp.. so far i can't find any good documentation on registry settings or ways to do this /w NSIS... any help?

It's in the registry, enable it manually and search where it has been stored.
