LAN pc crash

Does anyone know of a program that can perform an attack that will crash a computer on the LAN? I cannot do remote shutdown as the PC has a firewall. I need to either crash it or shut it down.

Even if there was an exploit available that could crash the PC, with a firewall enabled it would probably not be accessible.

Probably not a good idea to ask for hacking advice on a public forum. If you own the network, you've got options. Set the firewall to allow certain kinds of traffic and then send the remote shutdown command (many nic cards support this and can be started and shutdown via network connections); again set the firewall appropriately and run a monitor program on the pc(if your netcard does not support remote shutdown); or login to the router and disable traffic to and from the pc(not a shutdown, but the rest of the network would treat it the same). If you're not the network manager, or you otherwise shouldn't be doing this, I'm not going to help you (nor would I be able to) break someone elses stuff :). That's bad.

I will try out some of these ideas. Yes I am the network admin.

What kind of computer, why, do you own the computer in question, and how configurable is the Firewall?

If you've got access to everything, just whip up a program that listens on some arbitrary port, and does a public-key exchange, and then turns off the PC.
