"Assertion failed!"

I've been using Winamp 5.2 for a while now, and haven't had any trouble. Yesterday I installed a modern skin, and I got this strange error:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Assertion failed!

Program: C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe
File: D:\Eigene Dateien\VC++ Projects\gen_nowplaying\HT...
Line: 532

Expression: (gammasetstart>=0)&&(gammasetstart<(long)mtfCP->length()-1)

For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts

(Press Retry to debug the application - JIT must be enabled)"

I have no idea what any of that means. Anyway, I keep getting the error whenever I start playing a song with a modern skin. It doesn't seem to happen with the Winamp Cassic skin. I've uninstalled the other skin, reinstalled winamp, nothing works. Any ideas? Thanks for the help...

Upgrade to 5.03 (Might make a difference)

Whats your system spec's?
Which modern skin(s) did you try to use?

5.03 seems to be working. thanks!

btw, MMD3 was the skin that first got the error, but then it was the winamp modern skin that i kept trying and kept crashing.

Heeelllp!!! Okay, around the same time this started happening I installed Windowblinds. And around the same time it stopped happening I uninstalled Windowblinds. I recently installed some other stupid version of Windowblinds (thinking it had nothing to do with my winamp problem) and I started to get the Assert failed crashes again whenever I use the main winamp modern skin. I've tried uninstalling stupid Windowblinds, but I don't think its completely removing it. I'm going absolutely insane. Is windowblinds the cause? If so, how the hell do I get it OFF my computer?? if not, any other possible explanations??

Maybe this...

While Winamp is not running, go to the Winamp folder (usually C:\Program Files\Winamp) and delete the Studio.xnf file. Studio.xnf is the modern skin settings (size, position, etc.) file and deleting the file will sometimes help to clear up modern skin problems.
