Problem with MMD3 Modern Skin
 

Every time I download this skin and try to install it, Winamp crashes and keeps crashing until I delete it from the Skins Folder. Can someone help me so I can enjoy this skin?

What do you mean by “and try to install it”? Skins are automatically "installed" at the time of download. The .WAL (modern skins) files stay in their compressed format until the skin is loaded by Winamp. There should be no need to "manually" unzip the file.

Do you have Winamp Lite? Winamp Lite does not support Modern skins.

While Winamp is not running, go to the Winamp folder (usually C:\Program Files\Winamp) and delete the Studio.xnf file. Studio.xnf is the modern skin settings (size, position, etc.) file and deleting the file will sometimes help to clear up modern skin problems.

If you have a 3rd party download manager/accelerator temporarily disable it and try downloading MMD3 again.

Or, you could try the alternate download method...
1. Right-click on the download link
2. select 'Save target as'
3. download/save the skin to the Winamp skins folder (usually C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins depending on where Winamp 5 was installed)
Example: C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins\MMD3.wal
Next you are using Winamp select MMD3 from the skin browser or skin list.
