AOL 9.0 Optimized - LOVE that radio!

i like virgin radio from london. i don't care much if it has commercials or not.

Good choice deeder. Been listening to Virgin on FM radio in the trucks for years, very tolerable for a commercial station.
They've put a lot of effort into the internet service as well and have produced a very good page at http://www.virginradio.co.uk/thestat...ten/index.html it even recognises the Firefox browser and customizes the page accordingly. Provides streams in .WMA, Real format, Mp3 and .OGG. The .OGG streams are particularly good, I usually listen to the 'Classic' station at http://ogg.smgradio.com/vc96.ogg (drag and drop the link onto Winamp) UJ |
the commercials are more tolerable than american commercials

Just found Radio Caroline on the net :) :)
Celebrating it's 40th birthday This was THE station to listen to in the 70's and it's not too much of an exageration to say it changed the face of Radio. It set the format for pirate radio and almost all the pop/rock stations we have today. Even kicked the stuffy old BBC into starting Radio One. Sign of the times - commercial ads instead of the 'Loving Awareness' and vague hippy philosohy we used to get. http://209.51.162.163:5560 UJ |

right the spaceplay program hosted by Mike Hagler on Radio Caroline. And the "loving awareness" jingles can still be found on the internet as a download and i use them also. |
Sorry to say I've never noticed your station before spaceplay.
Giving it a try now. Good to see a little ISB creeping in there :) UJ |
Mine of course. Outside of that I listen alot to local stations that still stream on the web.
