how crappy realplayer is
 

so i was using real player to watch some dl videos. I turned down the volume. Turns out, the volume bar in realplayer controls your entire comp. plus, it doesnt even interface with the OS main volume, it overrides that. PLUS, even after realplayer is closed it continues at that level. I thought my speakers were busted or something cause i had to turn them up frigging high so i could hear anything.

I almost beat my brother over the head with a wooden spoon when I caught him using RealPlayer on my computer. I soon impressed the importance of only WA5 being used and only in a deadly emergency situation, use Windows.

And that's why I don't let anyone else use my computer. :D

Some of it was that hard to reach kind.

I think quicktime is a lot worse than realplayer!
Hate the goddamn thing.
Configured right from install realplayer hasn't bothered me much.

I have two thoughts on what this could mean.

Yep I hate realplayer, when ever I formatt - I try not to intall it for as long as possible.

I end up installing it when some site has .RAM things on it - and I HAVE to :hang:

If a site has media that's only in Real format, then that site isn't worth looking at.

I let my family on my PC once. My bookmarks and other files went missing, Along with new spyware. And I let them on for about 24 hours =/

If you rearrange the letters in "Real Player", you get "Really Rape", and I think that just about says it all.

but raas is right: quicktime is even worse
it's slow and it sucks
realplayer sucks as well, but i mostly prefer it to WM (mostly the only alternative if present on websites)
