How could it be wrong???
1. I have installed the shoutcast server configured it using in the .ini file and started the server
2. I downloaded the NSVtools, encoded an avi file to nsv and saved it in c:/media 3. I created a file, headers.txt and saved it in \nsvtools directory. Everything is correct upto there. 4. Open cmd prompt changed the directory to prog. files\nsvtools enter the following command nsvscsrc 127.0.0.1:8001:headers.txt c:/media/%filename% 5. when I press the return key it says connecting to 127.0.0.1:8001 but then soon after I get the error message nsvscsrc.exe has encounted a problem... Is my nsvscsrc file corrupt or is it something to do with my CPU usage, I tryed using kens GUI but again when click stream The command window opens and I get the same error. Any help:confused: |
Did you update to the latest version ?
There is a update to the original nsvscsrc package included with NSVtools. |
An update, how do you update it?, there is nothing in the NSVtools directory that alows you to update nsvscsrc.exe, well not that I know of help.

In order to explore NSV, you may wish to try: Making and/or streaming your own NSVs using our NSV Tools (updated 4/19/03) (UPDATE 11/12/03: if you are using NSVSCsrc, use this updated version instead, it fixes many issues.) |
