CD Burning
 

Running 5.03 Pro on dual Athlon MP 2800+, 512 MB, Win XP Pro SP1, NEC DVD-RW ND-1300A.

When I try to burn a CD from winamp I only get the lead-in and catalog - no data is actually written to disk and the app reports that the burn completed successfully. I've tried with and without Sonic, with and without burn-proof to no avail.

One curious thing I did notice is that the maximum burn speed is 16x, and I wondered if that has anything to do with the problem (I've had problems in the past burning at 16x on 48x media).

Also, I can burn mp3's fine in Windows Media Player (but can't burn Ogg files which is why I wanted to use Winamp).

Any help would be much appretiated.
