well done, now what thread did you mean to post this in?

Do you know that band?

Will you be getting to the point of this thread any time soon,or shall we carry on trying to guess what the hell you are on about, because as it stands at the minute it reads as total nonsense.

My dad knows this band, he told me to ask about it in here.

Well, when posting a thread in a public forum, it is usually good manners to indicate what you are trying to say, rather than just tossing out random thoughts.

For example...

"hey my dad told me to ask about the band Old Men from Nantucket in here, anyone know them?"

Would have made much more sense.

Sentences are so much fun, and no, never heard of them.
