Winamp

My Winamp crashes everytime I open it. This is the trhird time it's happened and I am tired of buying new WinAmp's

Geez that could be expensive buying new Winamps every time.

Things like system specs, version numbers, operation system might be useful you know as I am a intelligent and gift person but my mind reading skills are still not 100% yet. Sorry. :(

Ok no problem there, now could you go into more detail about how it is crashing. You are being very vague and curt here.

I found out it is the Skins. When I set one or ever browsew a skin it crashes. Before it was set to Modern so I deleted the directory and it works now but I can not skin it.

The exact problem was when I opened Winamp every winamp window would be open (Eq, Browser, Library, Etc.. etc...) And it would crash. When I dl a new copy it fixes it for a while but you have to buy pro to dl it.

No, you don't have to buy Pro to d/l it.

You can keep the same installer and use that,
or you can just download the Full version
and (re)enter your same registration details in Prefs > Winamp Pro.

In your case, I'd recommend a clean install

Anyway...
Please provide details of the crash error message.
If it's one of those standard WinXP error messages, it will say:
"To view details of the error, click here"

Application: Winamp.exe | module: ? | version: ? | offset: ?

Have you installed any extra 3rd-party plugins?
If so, then which ones?

Which skin are you using when it crashes?
A 3rd-party modern skin maybe?
Does it also crash when using any classic skin?

Are you running any shell replacement / desktop enhancement software?
eg. Litestep, StyleXP, Windows Blinds, Samurize, nView, Hydravision, sDesk, WinSpace, etc.

Which directory did you delete?

Ok, wel I don't know error number, and no I have no 3rd Party software installed. Now I can not change skins.

Fixed, I just saved target as <skin>.wsz and it worked.
