Find Target in "View File Info"

Two requests actually:

(Playlist entry) right-click -> view file info...

would be nice to have a button on this dialog which opens an explorer window and highlights the file selected in the playlist.

-AND-

(ML entry ) right-click -> Explore item folder...

although this does what im talking about, it doesn't highlight the file selected, which is pain if you have a lot of files in one folder.

( For an exact example of what im talking about, try any shortcut on your Windows desktop, right click -> properties, shortcut tab -> Find Target button. )

good idea? Would be handy...

Yeah, it would be nice if the ml feature actually hi-lighted the file as well.

For the playlist, there's this

that plugin is great!
you can use CTRL+F in the playlist to jump to the file in explorer.

it would be nice though to have that feature in the "view file info" box as well.

that would need to be done in every input plugin since they all implement they're own file info dialogs. maybe it's possible to have a plugin to hack into things but that's not something i've got the time for at the moment

so who is programming the standard mp3-file-info-dialog?
that one would be enough, i think.

the mp3 one is done by in_mp3 which is nullsoft provided. i guess there's space on the dialog to add a button but i'm not sure if it would be done as a native thing.

i guess you could do something like this... piccy
