And just when you think the whole world has gone crazy, and you can't trust no ones sanity, you see GD, and you know, there's no place more crazy than here, and you that at last the world is still a safer place ... or not ?!

It's like looking at a doppler map of the local weather...There's no rain in sight...5 minutes later, you refresh, and there's still no rain in sight... Sure, it's loser-ish, but it's the same effect... Only I might actually be doing something between those 5 minute intervals... ;) :p |
Cookies maybe?!?! ... I don't know ... I have noticed that since I enabled quick launch in Netscape/Mozilla, which retains it in memory, seems to keep me as appearing logged into these forums as long as I'm online, even though I've closed Netscape. I've opened up a couple of other browsers to browse as "guest" (no cookies for these forums) with netscape/mozilla closed (but still in memory/quicklaunch) and checked it out. The other browsers still showed me as appearing to be logged into these forums, even though I wasn't during those sessions in those particular browsers. When I exited (disabled quick launch) in netscape and tried it again, I was still appearing as logged into these forums. I just figured it was some kind of IP thingy after that. ... I dunno. Food for thought anyway.
