Ok, try this then!

Hmmm...seems that no one had any clue what song I needed help identifying was in a previous post, so I'm trying again.

I actually recorded my own version of the song with my guitar and voice. You can download it here: http://members.cox.net/tigergolf06/song.wav. It's only 694kb. I tried my best, it's not great but it's pretty close to the song I'm looking for. Remember, I don't know the lyrics, so I just used what I thought was the closest thing the guy might have sung when I heard it. The real song is a little slower and the guy's voice is much deeper and distinct.

Here's the story:
I need help identifying a song I heard on the radio last week. It's a medium-slow rock/pop song sung by a guy with a voice very similar to Nickelback and Days of the New, and also sounded like Creed. The song itself started out with a guitar playing some chords, not heavy at all. It sounded like a ballad maybe and definately new. The song sounded similar to these songs: Tantric's "Mourning", Creed's "One Last Breath", and the very beginning verse of Nickelback's "How You Remind Me". I have to clue what this song it and I've been trying to look for it for a couple of weeks. I don't remember the lyrics. Can someone please help me out???

i'm not sure what the name of the song is either but i think i know what your talking about. if you have a p2p prog, open it and search for tantric - finally found a reason
it may not be it though.

That is not the song. That's the song done by Days of the New called "Touch, Peel, and Stand". That song is a little too fast for the one I'm looking for, but the singer's voice is very similar and the verses are similar. ANYONE?!?!?

So can you help me?

squakMix 6th June 2004 18:16

No, but it sounds slightly familiar. Where/when did you hear it? Maybe you could go to the radiostation's website and look it up?

thedamn2002 7th June 2004 02:01

I heard it 2 weeks ago in my college's bookstore. I definately sounds recent, not old at all.
