Playlist wierdness
 

I think the image says it all.

Version is 5.03, just downloaded and installed from this site.
Same with every modern skin I've tried.

I can move the playlist window around, but the entries stay where they are, so it is unusable...

Any clues about this odd bug?

First, try switching to the classic skin and back.

No joy?

1. Close Winamp
2. go to the Winamp folder
3. delete both studio.xnf and winamp.ini

Note: this will reset all default settings.

Tried both those things, no chance.

Installed any 3rd-party plugins? If so, which?

Try a clean install
and then install the update patch

Apart from that...
System specs (including a list of StartUp programs) please.

Also, do have any shell or desktop utilities/enhancers (yzshadow, nView, Samurize, LiteStep, WinSpace, etc.)?

No shell enhancements...ive got the uxtheme patcher thing going (for stylexp styles) but thats all.

Theres a few plugins, I'll sort through them tomorrow when I do a clean install for you, see if it still does the same thing, post back here when I have...

Does StyleXP have a exclude list you can put Winamp on? If so, does the Winamp playlist "behave" after that.

i have the same problem, but it appears with almost all the windows (media library, video). i have to switch to the modern skin or classic skin and switch back to the skin i want to use with all the windows open, they then stay inside the border for some reason. this happens for all my custom skins...
