script error .. but not using a script
 

i'm trying to implement standardframe and i'm getting a script error in standardframe.maki (Guru Meditation #001C.0004018D.92 Null Object Called in scripts/standardframe.maki), but i'm not including that script. i had just added a groupdef called "wasabi.frame.layout" and that's when i get the error. i'm assuming that i have not added something related to standframe to cause this. any help?

BTW, i'm using the Winamp5 modern skin and another modern skin i DLed (SpoonoAmp) to use as guides to help with my skinning.

Well, to use the standardframe.xml you should include the standardframe.maki, but if the standardframe maki is called from within the standardframe.xml and no standardframe.maki don't excist, I assume it is locating the standardframe.maki for the default skin. Like when you don't have a playlist or medialibrary or video containers, it loads the default ones, and those use the standardframe.maki, so if you don't have the standardframe.maki and it's callded upon, I think this is your problem.

that makes sense. i'v actually only coded the standardframe xml and the playlist editor, not the player itself yet. but like i said, i'm not including that script anywhere in my xml code. and as you said, it must be including it from the default skin. i'm just not sure what i have to include in my code so that it won't pull that script from the default skin.

If you zip the player and post it here or something I can find out for you.

ok this is a stripped down version of the skin i am working on. it's purpose os to teach me how standardframe works. the script error gets generated when i define the groupdef wasabi.frame.layout in standardframe.xml. there's no player yet and i'm just testing the playlist editor (but even it's not included in skin.xml) any help would be appreciated.
