hey guys remember when i was bein a begging bitch about mountian dew points. well i did it i have completed collecting 550 points but im still saving. im gonna get the wireless controler so ill have 2 controlers. yee haw right now im sittin at like 592 and i need 800 for the 550(xbox)+250(controler). took me 4 weeks to collect 550 points. :)

the contest is still going and it only cost me like $2.50 for 100 dew points i got from my cousin. the rest alot of my friends help me get. you wouldnt expect me to pay for all those 24 packs of mountian dew. thats the reason why i did this. when i even thought about doin this i knew i would get most of the points for free.

Best way to compete in these things:

Find employment at the nearest P.E.T. bottle manufacturer and sneak out a section of their label rolls each day.
I did some contract work for various manufacturing plants around the country a number of years ago. We'd take whole rolls of labels, which contained thousands of labels/points, out in our portable toolboxes.
We got SO much Pepsi shwag, it was insane.

there not on the bottle lables. there on the caps and there only one point, but if ya get a 24 pack then you get 6pts per box. i went down to the mill. (place where ppl throw there cardbard away) and i got 100 pts one night. a friend got 400 down there and he only needed 300 so he gave me 100. it kicked ass

I love Mountain Dew. Sometimes I forget to keep the labels though. I have a stack of 200 sitting next to me, I just haven't entered them yet.

that sounds so harsh... 1 point on each cap. each cap comes with a soda. each soda presumably was drunk by someone, and that someone probably drank 400 bottles of the stuff, since the contest was active.

Thats a lot of dew! So you get 1 point for a 2 liter bottle and 6 points for a 24 pack of cans? Does the 24 pack cost 6 times as much?

Is it even worth it? :p

for me it is. most of my points WERE FREE REMEMBER

For some people, value is not calculated by money, but how much of their life/time they use up/waste... :p
