What's the differences between ATI Radeon and PNY GeForce video cards? Which ones would you recommend? Which one do you have?

ATI vs Nvidia, search the forum, discussed MANY times.

And the differences between many manufacturers of the same chipset video is very slight, since the board layout and parts have all become standardized to try to preserve the quality of the brandnames ATi and nVidia. There are however small differences in FPS between different manufacturer's boards, if at all, but nothing really noticeable.

ATI is winning right now.

New GPUS will be on sale in a matter of weeks. ATI had to drastically clock the X800 pro in order to catch up to nVidia's new 6800 FX. But reguardless of how they clocked their 12 pipeline, 525MHz GPU, it's dead even with nVidia's 475Mhz, 16 pipeline GPU. Image quality is also dead even. ATI is actually lacking somthing this time. It's not a huge deal, but they are forgetting Pixel Shader 3.0. and dual DVI. Other than that, frame rates are nearly the same. In some games nVidia will score higher frames, in others ATI scores higher. Still too close to declare a winner. This war will be about features and optimizations, not GPU.
