Those are fantastic pixie. Don't do what I did and give up! Make jar candles too, they're the easiest!

i make jar candles as well. i just got off the phone with my lawyer to have this mold and others copywrited. :) i have a big show coming up in august so im whipping these out.

Very cool and spiffy pixie! :) I used to make candles but just using some wick and sheets of wax...then I got bored and tried to make more "powerful" candles...let's just say it wasnt the ideal fuel. ;)

Those are fantastic! Don't be surprised if you see them in a Wal*Mart near you!

Word to the wise: Never, ever, ever sell to wal*mart. They use tactics of honesty and predicability to totally screw suppliers.

Heres how it works:
Wal*Mart: "If you can sell to us at this price we'll buy. But we'll specify the quantities. Every year we want a 5% price cut."
Supplier: "Yeah, I can do that."
Wal*Mart: "ok we want <unreasonably large quantity> of your product."
This quantity is likely more than the whole capacity of the suppliers factory. So, to supply walmart, they often reduce attention to other customers, losing most of them. This is true.

Every year: "We want a 5% price cut or we'll buy from someone else"
After a few years, the suppliers margins are so slim, that they can't afford the price cut. But if walmart go to someone else (these days there always is someone else), they will have very few other customers.

So what can the supplier do to reduce prices? The common answer is to move the factory to the far east (for cheaper labour) and lay off american workers.

You could blame the supplier laying off workers, but their hand was forced by Wal*Mart.

This happened bigtime to huffy cycles, to a lesser extent levi jeans and many other suppliers.

Moral of the story for suppliers: Don't deal with Wal*Mart.
Moral of the story for consumers: Don't shop at Wal*Mart, if you value american jobs.
