How to save a bunch of mp3's into one single file?

This has nothing to do with winamp issues, but I just thought I could get some help. I was wondering if there is an easy way to save a bunch of files (mp3's) into one bigger file, it can be either mp3 or wav, whatever. I know I can create a playlist, but that's not what I had in mind. I don't know anything about encoding, so I was looking for an app that would do that for me. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate the help.

Either that, or *.rar is the way to go.

Just use something like Goldwave to create a new WAV file the length of the files you want (so if you have 5, 5 minute files, you would create a blank file that is 25 minutes long). Then you just copy and paste the files into the new one.

What's your purpose doing this ?

If you just want a single archive file - use .rar or .zip.

If you want something that you can still play - what Bilbo says if you want to convert to a final wave file or Mp3DirectCut if you want to keep it as an Mp3.

There will be little difference in size between Mp3, Rar and Zip.
Wav will be about 10 times the size.

There will be no difference in quality between Wav and Mp3.

Thanks ujay and bilbo for the suggestions, those programs were exactly what I wanted. Unlike archiving files that wouldn't be able to be played, I wanted to put different mp3's into a bigger one, and I used Mp3DirectCut to do it, since it's free, lol. I tried other apps, like acoustica mp3 editor, but the free trial is for 7 days only, and Audacity editor is too simple to do what I wanted.

This is kinda stupid, but I have a blog and I put music on the background. I had these love hina songs which were less than a minute long, and I wanted to put them all together on my blog. I know I could have used html to do that, but I tried and I couldn't do it, and besides, that code of putting multiple files to play only works on IE, not on mozilla which I use.
Thanks for the suggestions anyways, I really appreciated:)

Um, yeah. Really, if you insist on having it, background music should not play automatically. I don't know if that'w what you intend, considering it's currently broken. Consider leaving it that way.

I already fixed it, so if you want to take a listen to it, here it is I chose to play automaticaly since, no one will care to click to listen to it, so everyone is forced to hear :blah: but If you get too annoyned just stop!!! I just thought that mix was really cool. even though I can't understand a word of japanese. btw my blog is in portuguese, but i have one in english too, but it's never updated cuz noone visits it. oh well just babbling off:D
