once i got into college i stopped caring so much about going to the movies alone...the single life(away from parents and childhood friends) sorta changed things for me. But yes in HS, i would never be caught dead in a theater alone.

I won't go to the movies alone. I see no point in it. The movie theaters are made for you to go with someone to see a movie. That's why the seats are so close together. If I don't have someone to go with to the movies, then I'll just wait for the DVD.

Uhm I think the seats are that close together so they will all fit in the room :) Movies are made to be seen and appreciated, doesn't really matter who you're with.

I go to the movies alone all the time. I'm a bit of a film buff, so movies are not as much a social thing to me as they were when I was younger.

I don't go to movies in the theatres, because it's too expencive. If I want to see a movie, I will just rent it.
