MidnightViper88 25th July 2004 04:48

Now, I know I go by the Motorhead words of "Born To Raise Hell", and I've trashed hotel rooms at some times almost or even worser than that, but I could never imagine living with it...My room sometimes gets so trashed you can't even see the carpet anymore, but I don't have a computer case and a mess of wires sprawling across the floor or a damn cantalope bowl on my desktop! :D :p

LOL see im a neat freak if im not at home, but at home I dont give a fuck.
My shrink said that the reason I didnt really give a fuck about my room was because I felt crappy inside, and since my room is mine, I left it crappy too.

Cognition 25th July 2004 05:02

There's been messier.

deeder7001 25th July 2004 06:59

i usually rearange my room when i clean it. it usually takes about 5 hours or more.

DragonSon 25th July 2004 07:29

My room is usually neat and clean. Only a few times when I was really busy with work have I let it slip.

lostonline 25th July 2004 09:29

My room is a bit of a mess but if I got round to it I could tidy it in a day (but I usually get distracted when I start). You could tidy it in a day or so if you got on with it.

NJK 25th July 2004 10:11

just wait untill you moved out to your own place, it will never be a mess again.

Rocker 25th July 2004 10:29

I usually can't see my carpet.

but that chair was fricken art dude.

mark 25th July 2004 11:32

i voted art.

CaptainNuss 25th July 2004 12:18

I just cleaned my room a few weeks ago as well. I was pretty thorough, throwing everything out I didn't need and looking through all my stuff. Based on that, I'd say it'll probably take about three weeks to a month.

So, what do I win?

eleet-2k2 25th July 2004 14:28

At least a month! You seem to comfortable with that mess to want to clean it up. :p

MidnightViper88 25th July 2004 14:33

If he cleans it up, it might be like changing the habitat; It's gonna be hard to adapt to a clean room... :p

Psythik 25th July 2004 18:02

It took me about 8 hours to clean my room when it looked like that...

mikm 25th July 2004 18:21

What we should REALLY bet on is how long the room will stay clean.

What if the entire house I was living in looked like that?

Vie 25th July 2004 18:40

Less than a day.

BMWboy 25th July 2004 19:42

I've done far worse than that. call me back when you just have 12" wide walking paths to get to the important parts of the room. I finally decided to clean it up when I realized I could see less than 10% of the carpet in my room.

BTW, it took me 4 months from when I said I'd clean it to when I actually cleaned it. However, lately, I've kept the room quite clean, I think because it took me so long to clean it that I don't want to have to clean it again.

Nuke it.

Well my room is separate from the computer room. Both are generally clean with nothing on the floor.

Nah, it only took about three full (18 hour) days to clean it up.

whiteflip 25th July 2004 23:28

That room looks clean to me. My room is the size of my friends entire apartment :) (reasons i havent moved out yet...) and would take hours to fully clean. Probably around 18 or so man hours.

ctn|chrisw 30th July 2004 01:02
