I just discovered the album Speed Metal Symphony and I almost fell out of my chair when I heard the title track. So I went and checked out Becker from them and was once again blown away. What other artists are out there like this? Its amazing.

Yngwie Malmsteen springs to mind. It's a real shame about what happened to Jason Becker, but you can check out some more of his guitar work on the David Lee Roth album "A Little Ain't Enough."
