Winamp 5 playlist error
Whenever I load winamp, the playlist has only one song in it and it shows up as "1. )" and thats it. Winamp tries to play the song and I have loop on so it lags my computer until I can hit the stop button. My winamp.m3u file has all the songs in it that were there when I close winamp, but it isnt getting the songs from that file for some reason. Does anyone know how to fix this?

First of all, make a backup of winamp.m3u.
After that, upgrade to Winamp 5.04: http://www.winamp.com/player/ (contains lots of bugfixes) Try to open winamp.m3u in Winamp to see what happens (just double-click in explorer). After a restart, are the songs still there? [edit] thanks, JonnyMac :) I remembered something like that, but couldn't find it... |
Looks similar to this...

I found the problem, I am using BlackBox for Windows as my shell, and I use a plugin that lets me use keyboard shortcuts to open stuff, but it was open winamp.exe") instead of just winamp.exe
Thanks for the help though |
