half of playlist disappearing

Several times now, when I opened Winamp, more than half of my playlist is missing. I have about 840 songs on the list, but when I open winamp, all the songs after 336 are gone. I've tried readding the files then resaving the playlist, but it's still not working. Please help.

Check if the files in your Winamp folder are NOT read-only.

Did you install any 3rd-party plugins?
Using Winamp 5.04?
System specs?

Remove the 337th file from the list
and if it's an mp3, test it for errors/corruption with MP3Utility.
Apart from that, maybe try renaming it or something
(does it have any non-standard characters in the path/filename?)
