Do you visit Nazi forums?
 

I sometimes visit the OCUK forums for unknown reasons.

This morning I posted this:

It's a serious topic about the right of underage girls to recieve private medical advise regarding abortins without their parents consent.

I go back a bit later to post a follow up point and *BAM* my account has been suspended. It's like being a member of Nazi Germany, McCarthy America or Stalinist Russia!

I haven't even had a PM or e-mail explaining why.


To boot, most of the forum members are BNP supporters that make Bush seem like a hippy liberal.

I dunno about sonique. I've been blatant over there and I still have an account.

neowin is pretty naziish. I've been banned a few times from there for not "appreciating" the hard work some people put into:
finding pictures of a celebrity
adding a photoshop default drop shadow
filling a background layer with colour
calling it a wallpaper.

oh well.

I havn't been under a Hitler effect yet, but I've been to some forums where I feel like Hitler's police service is there instead to a certain extent...Posting at some forum that was run by a buncha import tuner guys, none of who knew anything on real performance cars...I'd get flamed for saying "I like Mustangs" and I'd get dissed when I would prove them that a 4th gen Camaro SS could tie in performance with the R-32-R-34 Skyline GT-Rs stock for stock...I won't even list how many accounts where I would tell them they were idiots for thinking the Civic was the Japanese McLaren F1 and I'd get tossed on again...

I too, used to be a member of the Overclockers forums. I left for the very reasons that you describe. If you think that the regime here is bad, there you get banned simply if the people running the forums don't agree with your point of view. And believe me, this can be regardless of the topic in question.

I believe one of the guys in that thread is actually an employee of OCUK. Which is funny because I'm not going to ever buy anything from them ever again. Shame I can't tell them that really, although I doubt it'll make them change their ways.

The majority of the moderators are. Believe me - you won;t be the first to receive this treatment, and you won't be the last.
