How to turn Auto-Fade off
 

I've looked everywhere in Winamp Help and searched for this topic. The last time I run Winamp somehow I turn the function that fades Winamp into the background off. I uninstalled then re-installed and now I can't figure out how to turn it off. Can you please help me?

1. Ctrl+P (for preferences)
2. Plug-ins > Output
3. double click DirectSound
4. Fading tab
5. click on the various 'on' fade options and uncheck Enabled

Note: The fade button(s) in the Modern skins control the 'on end of song' option

I've done as you suggested(which is to disable all fading options), and its still fading.

Try closing and restarting Winamp.

Otherwise, do you have any DSP/effect plug-ins?
1. Ctrl+P
2. Plug-ins > DSP/Effect
3. select '(none)'
