platback speed
 

I have a p4 with win2k operating system. I am using winamp 5.03. During audio play back my speed is at about 1.5x the normal. I have direct sound set for the output as directed in the instructions. Any input would be greatly appericated.

Are you using a DSP/Effect plug-in?...
1. Ctrl+P
2. Plug-ins > DSP/Effect
3. Select (none)

Otherwise, a speed playback problem is usually a sign of outdated or corrupted sound drivers. If you have a soundcard go the manufacturer's website for updates. If you have an on board sound chip, go to the website of your computer provider or the manufacturer of the mother board.

Dsp was turned off. I d/l a new driver and that took care of the problem.
