A Timing problem???

OK, I'm playing a string of songs from a playlist. All extensions are MP3, WAV, RA, RM, and WMA.

Problem: In sequence i have an RM, then a WAV then a MP3.

After the RM stops playing, winamp stops
while trying to play the wav, yet, when i hit
the stop button on winamp and then drag/drop the WAV song into the player,
it plays fine.
The same thing happens when going from WAV to MP3.

Any suggestions?

thank you,
savagcl

Did you install any third-party plugins?
(except for Tara, I suppose?)

Be sure 'Manual playlist advance' is unchecked (prefs > playlist).

Yes, Tara is the only one tho.

I have a zipped copy of winamp with the tara plugin and the one for mov files.

All of a sudden winamp just quit playing ra, rm files. Re installing the zipped copy did not get them to play.
A freah install of 5.04, then adding tara also wont play ra, rm files.
Do the file types (RA, RM) go into the tara.ini or the directshow?????

thanks for the feedback,
