Is there a compatibility issue with WinXP with the newest version of winamp?

Today, I downloaded winamp 5.04, and as soon as I tried to open it, windows said it wasn't compatible. I had to go into safe mode and delete winamp in order to do anything else.

What do you mean "not compatible"? It works fine for me (XP Home, XP Pro) and most other users. Are you using a Limited Account by any chance?
