You know whats weird is that they always tell you not to do drugs, but then you look at all these successful people that are on drugs and it makes you wonder.

But then they're are a lot of druggies that don't do shit with their lives.

The successful people are clean when they work their way to the top, but when they get there they realize that it wasn't worth all the work they did, so then they get lit.

Weird, it's almost like people and the choices they make are all different and drug use is merely a coincidence!

School starts today or in the next few weeks??? For me it's always been early september :weird:

I am SO glad I'm done with 10th grade. That was definitely my worst school year ever. It was like a war. I swear, someone could have made an action movie out of it. The tension between me and my teachers was so thick you could try cutting it with a knife but it would probably break the blade. Wow it was just insane.

This next year is gonna rule....NO MATH!!!!! Hehe, don't have to take any math courses ever again :D Plus a few other things that I prefer not to mention :D

Now I'm actually wanting school to start, because I feel like I'm losing it without much social contact around. August in gonna be one damn long month......it feels like the 20th or something, and it's only the 9th.

Not really that good of an idea to do, because when you enter college, assuming that you will, it's going to be a pain to relearn and get up to speed on the old stuff. Best thing would be to have at least one or so to keep it fresh in your head.

I also was done with my math courses after 10th grade. Science too. But don't stop taking them. You'll definitely regret it later.

i just finished my january-july semester, now ill start my august-dec semester on 23rd


all in all 7weeks break (3 for winter,the rest spread out) for the entire year....then only 5 weeks next year

Oh, crap, that's right. I go back in two weeks. And I still have a crapload of summer work to finish. Goodbye, Summer. It was fun while it lasted.

Done with math after 10th grade? That's pretty ridiculous. I have to take 3 years worth of math (through 11th), although a 4th is strongly recommended. Same with science, although most don't start with that until 10th grade, as I did. Biology is going to blow.

3 years of math minimum? I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you only have to take 3 years. Over here, we have to take math until the end of school. And for good reason.

if you plan on going to college DO NOT SKIP MATH!!! just to have a fun senior year...thats dumb....cuz then your first year of college will def. kick your ass

Today was the start of my SECOND week of school. I'm a Junior (11th grade) this year.

CaptainNuss, that's three years minimum at my private college prep high school. Most public schools only require 2 years.

The creative industry is/was filled with druggies. Kurt Cobane, Jimi Hendrix to name a couple from Washington State.

My first day of school is September 1st.

I have two subjects, that's two hours a day, both involve interesting stuff, i don't go back for another 4 weeks.

Life is sweet.

I go back in September... Oh, dreading it... Normally I'm looking forward to going back, but I feel like I'd rather stick the nozzle of a gun in my mouth than set foot in that place again...

I'm in grade eleven, as well...

No joke. The got out the week before Memorial Day. Cobb County (where I live is steadily moving toward year round school with quarterly breaks. They feel the students retain more over a shorter break and don't get 'burned out' over a long stretch of school. I don't know how it will work out, but they say there have been trial programs in several states, and the data points that way.
