Winamp crashes immediately
1 Attachment(s)
I've been a happy user of Winamp 5.04 for the past few months now (and version 3 before that), running on a Windows 2000 system (updated to current) but without any apparent reason, Winamp now crashes immediately on opening.
All I get when i click the icon is the winamp console coming up and a 'Program Error' box saying 'winamp.exe has created errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.' I managed to find the error log (created by Dr. Watson) and I've attached the relevant part. If you need any more info just ask. I've had a look through the Forum but without success. If it is there could someone point it out please. Please help soon so I don't have to keep using cruddy Media Player every time I want to listen to my tunes :igor: Thanks a lot Tom Field |
Hello, have you tried a clean install? that might fix it, i had a similar problem on one of my machines, and a clean install fixed it right up :D

Duh!
Yea, that fixed it. Feel kinda stupid for not having worked that one out myself. Thanks anyway |
