...for the money that they lost... 50 bucks? Sue for 50 bucks? A big company? I dont think so.

They will do for the principle, because now this one guy has, think how many more will start to do the same. $50 can easily become $50,000.

It's CompUSA And Circuit City and the like losing the money, It's just Best Buy's name on the coupon :P

Either way, he paid with a credit card, giving them his name, address, etc. When finance realizes they made x$ less profit than they should have, there is a chance there will be hell to pay so as to prevent other people from trying this.

Same reason why the RIAA is suing 12 year old girls. If they are going after them, what's to stop them from going after me? It's a scare factor.
