Song Titles for LIVE DJ mix

I have searched the forums but haven't been able to find an answer to this question. I am mixing LIVE music from turntables through a mixer and into my sound card. I am running WinXP Pro, WinAMP5.03a and Shoutcast Server 1.9.4 on the same local machine. Everything is working fine (with the exception of the MIC feature - but that will be a different posting). I wanted to know if there was a way to manually post song title and artist info 'on the fly' while I am mixing?

The only place I can find to post the info is in the OUTPUT section of the DSP v1.8.2b. Enable Title Updates is selected and I've turned TITLE off and entered a name manually while leaving the URL on AUTO. Not sure if this is the proper way to do it. I have also seen people creating XML and PHP files on servers. Would I have to input the info and then re-upload the page each time i want to start a new song? Can I do it locally? Where can I find a good script for this?

BTW, the AutoTitle works fine when I am using Winamp as the source. It's when I use my Soundcard as the source that I get nothing but the Server Name and TitleFormat.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Update the titles manually via
http:// IP:PORT/admin.cgi?pass=PASSWORD&mode=updinfo&song=INFO

Clarification

Assuming my IP is 69.197.211.206 and my port is 8000, I would put:

http://69.197.211.206:8000/admin.cgi...info&song=INFO

I know what my password is, from the Config file, but i don't know what I would put for USER? Also, how is it accessing a CGI if I don't even have one running on my local computer - or do I?

That URL doesn't ask for a user.

This URL is accessing your DNAS (SHOUTcast server) admin page. It is automatically generated by your DNAS.

It all makes sense now

Normally I am pretty good at resolving these types of problems but I was having trouble and not really working from any reference point. It makes sense now but I guess there was a lot left up to interpretation.

I will lay it out in detail for any who were in my position before. Enter this address into your browser but with the necessary changes described below:

http://IP:PORT/admin.cgi?pass=PASSWO...info&song=INFO

change the following:

IP = your IP address
PORT = port you are using
PASSWORD = the one you created in your Config file
INFO = where you input the song title and artist, etc (spaces are allowed)

Addendum

As an addendum, the TRACK TITLE/URL feature for the SHOUTcast DSP works fine for me as well. The only trick I've learned is that you need to cut and paste the info in. Otherwise the info updates in real time and you get something like ... S SO SON SONG, because it is updating faster than you can type.

Is there a way to change the delay time? I know in the Config file you can change the RealTime=1 to something greater - but will that affect the quality of transmission at all? What are the drawbacks?

No, You cannot change the delay. It is for quality of service. You can decrease it by increasing your bitrate, but you will never completely get rid of it.

If you want realtime, look into icecast.
