Kruder and Dorfmeister.
Anyone listen to these guys? I have the K&D sessions (which I like alot. I love it), and want to know if any of their other stuff is good. DO they do any other stuff similar to the K&D sessions?
|
I've also got the K&D Sessions which are good when I'm in the mood for them. Also checkout DJ Kicks by K&D which is a similar mix. I've also got Suzuki by Tosca (Richard Dorfmeister), which is kind of mellow trip hop and quite good (although I've not listened to it in a while).

They are the gods.
All the K&D albums are mixes, Richard Dorfmeister releases his own stuff as Tosca (which is kind of trip-hop), and Peter Kruder is aka Peace Orchestra (which is kind of more ambient stoner music ;)). The self-titled album by Peace Orchestra is fantastic. You can see their catalogue at www.g-stoned.com, it's their own label. IMO the K&D Sessions is the best of the lot though, certainly the best mix album ever :). |
I think I might buy Peace Orchastra... I listened to some samples of music from the album:

I still haven't bought it (and nobody's bought it for me :p). Amusingly the vinyl version is about half the price of the CD at Amazon, so I'll probably go for that.

I haven't got the Peach Orcherstra stuff yet but it on my list of things to get and I should really get it soon.

I picked it up today and I love it :). I totally recommend it to anyone who's a fan of their stuff. I'm surprised: It lacks nothing even without dorfmeister. Check it out .
