Which one?
 

I entered a digital photography competition with 5 categories (Nature, Architecture, Antiques, Faces and Open). I had some quite good pictures for them all, except for antiques, so I went out and took some pictures of old things in the neighbourhood, and at the beach. They're quite dull, but I need to submit something soon. They're of either the pier at the beach, or an old church near my house. Please can you give me your opinions as to which I should present? Thanks.

1st one, no particular reason, other than it's the one I like best of them, it also looks the best composed of them all, others look like random tourist snapshots, first one looks like you took time and effort to line up a good shot before you pressed the snap button.

I think you should go take some more pictures. ;)

Thanks. The thing is I don't like the idea of walking around looking for something to photograph. For the other four photos, it was spontaneous, so they're not rubbish. I'll see if I can find the time to find something else that's old worth photographing.

Only take #4 if they make a new section for glare. ;)

Generally nice though.

I like this one. It's made significantly better by the fact you can see the rest of the doc in the distance to the left.

I like the second and third one, although I do like the pier shot above. I like the bird shots because it looks random but cool at the same time.

Yea, I really like the bird in that picture... The lighting and colors seem odd to me for some reason though.

...I would go look for some seagulls hanging around that dock. IMO a random seagull sitting on a dock post cleaning it's feathers would look really nice.

Well, thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately it's winter and seagulls don't seem to hang around in such epidemic proportions as they do in the summer.

Second one. The church. Good coloring for a digital camera.

beach ones need photoshpped to make the water look less poisonous
