"Where do you want to live today?"

The things that happen when you are bored, have ugly neighbours and a shitload of LCD panels lying around....

pretty cool! i wonder how long they stayed as landscapes before they turned into pron ;)

deeder7001 15th September 2004 18:01

you could turn those into really big LCD screens.

lostonline 15th September 2004 18:02

Better than seeing rain outside, just have nice pics instead.

fwgx 15th September 2004 18:04

That's sweet, but those people have too much money if they can afford 8 LCD pannels to just play about with.

Wolfgang 15th September 2004 18:07

Cool. I've actually dreamt of having a huge LCD screen on the kitchen wall, or in my room in my college digs for a while.

Sir_Ed 15th September 2004 18:49

Hey, that's pretty cool. I wonder if they have a couple of those depicting a nice view over Loch Tummel... with Jenna Jameson prancing around...

So I found myself with access to lots of unwanted 15" panels from work
Damn I wish I was that lucky.

If i was him I'd setup a timer function to change it with the day, i.e. when it's morning have the landscape with the sunrising and at night have the moon and stuff.

Really cool:up:

Looks cool. The only thing is there'd be no depth, so it wouldn't really look like a window except in a straight-on view. Because in Real Lifeā„¢ you see different things from different angles (unless it's showing, like, a brick wall or something).

Wow so, all those lcd's for just a non moving picture? Pretty much achieve the same thing with a painting stuck in the window, correct?

Unless they want to change it regularly.
