How to connect the houtcast to a website. help
 

Hi i ve installed everyhting made it work but i want to be able to have the radio in a website and people be able to listen music by clicking a link. What should i do? please help

you either have a router or firewall running. read the link above on how to handle when you see this error in your log.

and how do i link my radio with a site?

you mean you want to place a link on your website?

just upload the link to your host
http:// your ip number : port /listen.pls (without the spaces inbetween).

If you have a firewall running on your PC [the one that's running the DNAS] or a broadband router, you need to make sure that the DNAS listen port is "forwarded" to the address of the DNAS... on a personal firewall, you have to allow incoming connection attempts on the DNAS port.

The message means that the Directory Checker cannot connect to the port [the SYN request is refused or dropped] when it "comes back" to your internet IP.
